i want to use my pc (homestudio) and my mpc for sequencing without having to unplug any thing and have both sequencer playing both my 50-50 and my keyborad
the reasons for is becouse i like to sequence on the computer but my boy likes to use the mpc for sequencing so when i want to make a beat on the pc i have unplug everthing and put it back when i'm done right now i have a usb midisport 2x2 and a midi in & out from my audigy 2 zx card , xv-5050 mpc 1000(coming soon)and a qs6.2 keyborad. i will be getting a midi controllor soon as well to controll the 5050

all at once just because i can i can choose witch one i want to use because im elite. what u need to do is hook up ur gear in midi correctly. have ur mpc1000 be slave and have ur pc midi out to mpc1000 make sure to setup up mpc to sync out and in in ur midi properties of mpc. the rest is very obvious just hook up ur firast synth to ur mpc and out to that synth and thru to ur other one. its easy. then u can use any sequencer u want.
