Is there a way (mute groups.)

I have many different programs loaded in my MPC. I want I want to use to a mute group with in the different programs. Im playin a to stop a sample in program 1 and I hit a pad in program 2 or do the have to be in same program to use the mute group feature.

nah mute groups are track specific.

workaround - set one pad on your pgm to be on the same mute group of the sampel you want muted. don't set any sample on the pad and tap it whenever you want the sample to shut the hell up
