Resampling Problem!

When i record the main out to record my beat...The finshed sample size is above 13kb for 1 min.

I talked to my friend who also has an mpc1000 with the same OS,
How can i make the file size smaller????

smaller than 13kb? whats the problem 13kb is nothing its a few drum hits? do you mean mb because im not sure i understand the problem.

i think he means 13 MB, thats about what is used up if you make one beat and resample the whole minute in stereo. if he has only the 16mb stock memory this can be the problem and the solution is to expand the memory.

sorry there is no way to resample to smaller filesize, because the mpc has only one sample rate.
if you run out of memory you must track your beats out to a daw or a multitrack recorder instead of resampling it.
