looping

i have my sample looped in the trim field but when i go to record the performance i cant seem to loop it rite any ideas in wat im doin wrong....jus got the mpc 3days ago need a lot of help

in trim mode are you holding down pad 13 to make your sample loop or did you set it to loop? if you set it to loop it should loop the same as when you hold down pad 13.

just because it is looping perfectly in the trim screen, it doesn´t always hit the sequence tempo right. adjust sequence tempo or timestretch your sample.

yea im using pad13 i must have the tempo wrong in the sequence wats the best way to find the tempo to fit the sample

using your ears?
tap tempo button?
counting the beats very loud and then ask your neighbour for the tempo?

there are many ways, but no way i would hold your hand, because handholding is banned on this forum...
