you can't. The 1000 has different pads than all the other mpc models (they're smaller and rectangular, rather than square)

And before you ask, no, it's not even worth trying to just cut down to size the older pads cause the 1k pads are individual instead of a whole rubber sheet of pads like the older models.
Of course you'll get *silence* cause this has been asking ALOT when the 1k first came out. I'm surprised you haven't read that somewhere on the boards here aleady.

To be fair, i have only been here for 2 months and i did do a non conclusive search.
