You know what would be cool? an adapter for more assignable outs (so we can have 8 instead of 4). Do you guys think that this is possible? If akai's selling then im buyin'

thats wishful thinking, but there's no room at all for anything else on the 1k, even some type of an external adaptor. if having 8 outs really means that much to you, your best bet would be to buy a 2500.

yeah. -sigh- im cool with that idea. buying another mpc.... im so spoiled with upgrading my 1000 that i cant stop thinking of new ways to make it doper! oh well!

think about stuff you can load into it to make it a powerful kind of pseudo rompler/synthlet. these lfos and filters are no joke, even on 2.1 you can use this thing as a brilliant little synthesizer...but with the "ALL pads" function in the new os for qlinks in addition to autochromatic...lordy. it's really amazing. that being said, load sine waves, squares, etc...you have a mini maelstrom in your mpc...
