I need some help!

Ive read the manual, Ive looked online including this site....I cant figure out how to assign a sample to a pad....and each time when I record a sample it never gets saved...

can anyone help?

Oh its in the manul. Akai wouldnt make the machine and not explain how to load sounds.

You record analog?? If so then after pressing "stop" (which stops sampling) press a pad where you want to keep your sample and then press "keep"! All mentioned buttons must be seen when you stop recording a sample! If you still can't figure it out then give a sign!

In the index of your manual look under "pgm field", this will show you how very easy it is, step by step.

just like they sed about assigning the samples afteryou acxtually sample them...To assign samples to pads push mode+program or highlight PGM on the main screen and hit window then place the cursor in the right spot and dial em in(u can copy a sound to another pad once u have 1 sample in the program(this is quicker and save s the Data wheel) in the program mode press f1(sample) then place the cursor on the faR LEFT(A0-1/AO2/ETC..) AND PRESS WINDOW AND THEN SELECT THE PAD U WANNA COPY TO then go to the pad u copied to and dial that to the correct sample.... as for u saying u sample something but the mpc doesnt save it?? thats confusing---but u can do this 2 ways save each individual sample(good for when u just want 1 sample and ur not ready to build a progrm) or make a program and sve it( SAVE WITH SAMPLE and REPLACE SAME SAMPLE IN MEMORY:Yes)---I dont wanna sound like an @$$ but read the manual--if u dont have 1 download the pdf of the manual from AKAIPRO.COM
