i just bought the 1000. and now i need to get somthing to sample from. should i get a cd turntable or a regular cd player deck?? i want to change the pitch of the voice like to chipmunk sound. do i need the turntable to do that or do you recommend a cd deck??? thanks.

neither. you should buy a vinyl turntable and some records.

a microphone also..with some tin cans and a bucket
use the mp to change pitch
