mpc 1000 playing double

right now ive slaved my mpc to pro tools. meaning im using pt to sequence. anyways, when i play a beat it plays like its doubled up, however, its recording fine. i have my type set to drum and midi to 1a. any ideas???? thanx for any help.......................

sound like the sound is looping twice into PT.

I had the same problem. I'm using the mbox2. Try adjusting the mix knob.

turn the local settings(if any) to off.............

local settings as in what. i have midi thru off and i cant think of anyhting else.......

If there aint no local settings, i cant think of nothing else, i dont have protools, i do all my sequencing in the mpc, the sequncer is mad nice, its easy to use. Y dont u use the MPC's sequencer instead of protools? Just wondering..anyway do a search on the internet and stereoroid...........Good Luck.

ive used the mpc sequencer for years, i know its mad nice(60,2000,1000) im just using all my options and i like the different groove templates that pro tools gives me, it just gives me more options......i use both sequencers........
