How to reset filters/ effects to defaults?

Aside from turning the MPC off, then back on, does anyone know if a quick way to reset the filters and effects, after they have been tweaked? I'm noticing this to be a problem when I go from song to song...the previous settings are retained, unless I have saved particular effects settings with the new song that I pull up...in which case the saved settings override the last song's settings.

I imagine the answer is glaringly simple, thus the lack of replies. I'll reinvestigate the problem later tonight and report back...
