Ok I got an Idea and wanted ou to let me me know if it works.
The onlz Reason whz i wanna purchase a MPC is because of the tight quantisation and feel of the mashie. so here is my idea :
1. Connect my MIDI Keyboard to MIDI in of MPC
2. MIDI Out of MPC into MIDI in of my soundcard.
3. MIDI Through the MIDI CHANNEL of the MPC so it goes directly to cubase as i use the vst instruments.
4. Full sequencing inside of the MPC
5. After the main instruments are layed down in the MPC , sync the MPC with Cubase and record the MIDI Tracks of THE MPC into Cubase for further Arragement ( This option in case of the MPC2000XL - in case of MPC 1000 go to ste 6 )
6. Save the MPC Sequence as midi file and import into cubase.
Now i would reallz like to know if this would work.
