I'm a researching kind of guy, I like to know what I'm buying and why.
So in my preparations of getting a MPC1000 I checked as much as I could.
But I wanted to know if Akai was on top of things when it came to customer service and support, so I wrote them a mail.
And another, and another..

No reply what so ever, so I decided to continue to send one every day.

But I did get a reply when asking the guys at VST!
My main concerns were the lack of good support (which proved to be non-existing), upcoming bugfixes and why the hell they didn’t hire JJ (or at least took some lessons).

All credits to Nicholas at VST for doing what Akai’s own support is supposed to do.
But he told me “As far as I know there are very few problems with the current OS and even the bugs that still exist rarely effect the use of the unit. In fact most user’s never ran into any of the bugs that have already been fixed”.

I am still waiting for mine, so I don’t know what bugs are still there or already fixed, but as far as I understand there are some problems with saving projects/tracks/beats and that the unit freezes, causing lost data.

I’ve been searching for the “Known Bugs List” here, but can’t seem to find one.

So my question is:
What is the current known bugs list for Akai’s latest official OS?

[Quick quiz: Did JJ use to work for Akai or he just got what it takes?]
