I looked into the Mpc 1000 manual, and found nothing on Shift Timing.

if this feature is not available...how do you creat lasy feels to the Snare drums.

or is it there?

I noticed that also. That's definitely not good. I don't know how they figured leaving that out would be an improvement. Maybe there's another way to do it.

Just use whatever works for you.

Isn't the same accomplished under Chapter 4 for Editing sequences?

You can take any number of notes and move them anywhere from a few hundred bars to 1 tick.
