Hey everyone, I'm just starting to get into using my MPC as a midi controller and am wondering as to what kind of degree I can manipulate my VST instruments from within the MPC itself.
Y'see, ive got an awkward setup and my monitor is behind me when I sit at my midi keyboard and MPC, so I'm looking to be able to utilise all the instruments and drum sounds from programs like BATTERY and be able to add delays and some effects, without having to mess around with the mouse too much, as I find it slows things down a lot (not to mention it doing my neck in, having to turn around every 5 minutes!).

So here's my point, can I use the Q-link sliders or any effects on the MPC to manipulate a MIDI note, or is that reserved only for actual samples on the MPC? I've tried and searched quite a bit, but with no luck.
Does anybody else do anything like this during their sessions?

Cheers folks.

Q-links on the 1000 won't control anything through MIDI. Only internal features.
