in a perfect world everything you want and needed would be easily accessable, but sadly the world in which we live is far from perfect.
but what if that perfect world wasn't that far away?
what if it was just out of your reach? but getting closer by the minute...
can you see it?
its there, in all its brilliance. a multi coloured rainbow...
look a little closer...
whats that?
is that MPC1000 pads?
but they aren't grey?

people they are on there way... what colours are you guys dieing for?

please leave your feedback on this... mention colour preference and how much you think you would pay per pad and as a set of 16 (or if your a mpc 0.5K owner, set of 12).

peace

15 views and no replies... come ladies and gents... this could come to fruition... i know alot of you guys like to customise your gear, so why not finish the job and set your masterpiece off with a pad colour of your choice rather than the dull and dreary grey pads...

what would be the ideal christmas present for your loved one? (your mpc1000/500)...

a facial... lol

Pads on my 2kxlse2 are red/white, the white parts glows neon green in the dark.

This was supposed to be a serious discussion... but obviously the regs are quick to slate, Lamp, no wonder you get grief off all the noobs on here with remarks like that, i'm not getting at you but something a little more constructive from you would of been nice.

as far as the pads go, they are a possability. And maybe even buttons... a few buttons have broke on my 1K and i called Cimple solutions and enquired about the cost, the guy on the phone said the price of the buttons are very low (he wasn't very specific) but there was a £10 small order charge, i only need 3, so i thought frack it, i'll get em else where maybe even made out of stronger plastic....

feedback people this is what i want not stupid drivel

peace

I like the glow in the dark pads idea. I like making beats in the dark sometimes, and after looking at the screen, sometimes it's kinda hard to see the pads.

Other than that I would say "standard" colors... royal blue, red, black...

how about instead of colors, you focus on fixing the pad issue

plus, i don't think lamp was giving you drivel, he was being serious

i must've read it wrong, its been a long day, no offense Lamp. my apologies...

Nym what i'm suggesting here is not the whole pad, just the boot, the rubber cover sold in sets of 16, at a nice affordable price... this is my reasoning for starting this thread, to see what colours the people want.

unfortunately grey suits me best, but black would be nice too.

yo it looks cooler by the day as the rust grows. people say it looks 100 years old. it's simply beautiful. there are spots where my palms rest on it as i'm working that have turned the coolest burnt metal color, while others are bright shiny silver. the rest is erratically sprayed with black paint, dots like, and then patches where i sprayed it completely black in geometric patterns. hands down the coolest mpc i've ever seen in my life.

Hope I don't catch wreck for bumping this..

I'll go with Blue since I haven't seen a MPC with it Blue pads yet. I have the "Optimus Prime" MPC so hopefully it'll go good with it...Theme for this MPC will be surrounding shades of Blue most likely but I'm not sure yet.

You know what would be convenient? A MPC viritual design studio so one can visualize their customization ideas like Colorware has done for a bunch of electronics
