right now, i hav my mpc 2000xl, but might change to the 1000 so i can get other things..

cash i got is.. $1399.99.. which i spent all to get the mpc 2000XL..

Current Setup
--
MPC 2000XL
(multimedia :? desktop surround sound speakers)
Stanton T.60 Turntable
Numark 950USB DJ Mixer
My Computer

now, if i get tha mpc1000, i'd have 400$ left over, for the 100 cost $999.99

WHAT I MIGHT CHANGE IT TO

MPC 1000
GOOD MONITORS within price
Midi Interface
Midi Keyboard Controller (the X-board)


any suggestions?

maybe check ebay you may be able to add a couple of other pieces if you buy the 1k off of ebay

i got an xboard, very happy with it. for the price cant be beat. & it has a simple midi usb interface built in. super handy.

PADS... Is THAT it, that's not a big enough reason to miss out on all that newer technogoloy in the 1k.

1k Technology > 2kxl pads

I must have not done enough research, because I thought the 1000 and 2000xl were on a similar playing field when it comes to technology.

Ture, but I would still rather have the 2kxl just for those better pads!!!!
