What the deal peoples!

I'm new to this and just want to introduce myself before asking questions. I 've been a dj for years, and avid record collector and have always wanted to get an MPC but could never afford it. i just copped a 1000 for $500, so I'm pretty hyped. On the other note, I have no idea how to use it So Imma hit that manual and get back to this board in the future with questions. I plan on buying the newest os, but my question is this. Can I get a pretty good feel if I intall the 3.06 for now while I'm reading the manual and learning? Or should I stay with the old factory 2.0 os while I'm in the learning process, then after I'm familiar with the 1000 get the updated os? I appretiate any suggestions yo. Peace!

yeah, hook up with 3.06 and mess around.

Definitely consult the manual for most problems.

For the most part it is the same.

but he just added some new features.

there is plenty of info on those new features in the OS3 forum.

it is a forum on this site that is dedicated to questions/concerns/features of the new OS.
