Hi I just got a MPC 1000 recently and was wondering if you could help me with a problem im having.
what iv been doing is loading up say a two bar sample from my computer into the memory card and then chopping it into 16 pieces within the machine and creating a ‘new program’. The problem is that when I then go to say record a sequence and lay down some samples, it wont lay any samples over each other. So it like just cancels one of them out and like cuts the other. Additionally you cant hit two at once as is the case with some of the stock programs that iv been playing with that came with the MPC 1000. if I have made any sense I would much appreciate your help.
