i have the same thing happen

it is a "disease" that i have that effects the eustachian tubes that drain stuff from your ears

it is incurable. and not serious. but pretty annoying sometimes.

especially when your glands are swollen or something.

basically what happens is it doesn't drain properly and it effects the pressure in your ears.

i'll be watching tv and the dog will walk in front of the speakers and my ears will feel like they popped.

you could have a similar problem

also, you may want to turn your headphones down a notch.

or atleast not have them on for extended periods

you know what, honestly there have been times where i've noticed the same thing... it doesn't happen a lot, i just thought that maybe it was due to the 'samples' i was using... try to resample and reload it again... i haven't been able to find out exactly what it is, but i'm thinking it could be due to the sample's bit rate or something - i'm not sure. maybe someone with more experience can shed some light on the issue...
