Program command change

I am using a Drum Kat and want to send the MPC a program command change to change from song to song. I am a drummer and using this in a live format. The MPC is setup with 10 songs, all with different tempos as everything is played to a click as well as triggering the sounds with various pads and also using the sequencer to trigger various parts as well. Is it possible to have the Kat send to the MPC and have it change from song to song? thanks

I have a friend who's a big Kat enthusiast, though I'm not as familiar with it. At any rate, as long as you can configure the Kat to send MIDI program changes AND you have the AKAI 2.1 OS or something better, you should be able to hit MODE then MIDI/SYNC (pad 9) and toggle "Sequence change by program change" from the F1 MIDI menu.

Anyway I thought they added that in 2.1... haven't run it in awhile...
