misunderstanding

what I want to do is find my sample so i can use it after I patch phrase it. I know how to slice. but after hit "do it" to patch phrase Where do i find my sample to play it back?

It is probably made into a new sample (the original sample will still on that same pad, you'll have to assign the new sample to a pad, pad assignment is in your manual.
