should i get a mpc 1000 or mpc2000xl

should i get a mpc 1000 or mpc 2000xl
it easy to get my hands on a 1000 but its hard to get my hands on a 2000xl witch one is better and a 1000 has a multi card reader installed but if i buy a 2000xl i would have to install a multi card reader
should i just buy the 1000 or spend more money for the 2000xl

The 1000 is more advanced and has a grittier warmer sound to it. I actually kind of compare it's sound to my SP 1200. The 2000xl is bigger and more ergonomic, it sounds great as well but is a bit brighter in sound. The 1000 has a much faster processor and loads of new features such as the ability for an internal laptop hard drive instead of f---ing with SCSI devices like on the 2000xl. I use my 1000 more than my 2000xl , 3000, or 60. I would get it especially if it is your first.
