Hey is it possible to record from the record in, while something is paying.

So as an example:

I have 1 Sequence with 15 Tracks

I press play so all the 15 tracks are running
No I turn on to Track 16 and then I would like to record but from the record input. And that it is looping live !

thank you for your help

you can't record into a track (if you're not using the JJ OS). Instead you can get in record mode, then hit play (and your 15 tracks will play), then sample wahtever you want, and assign the new sample to the track 16.

okay, I am using JJ OS, since yesterday. But I havent registered yet.

How can I do this in JJ OS ??

I know that it is possible, whenn I am in Record Mode, but I want to record directly in track, cause I am using my MPC more for Live Acting.

Choose track between 61-64, then hit overdub and play.
JJ's direct recording isn't the most live-friendly function because stop must be pushed to stop recording :(

Than I could also loop it again in Ableton Live.
On normal record from my pads, I just have to press overdub for a secound time to stop the recording, but it is playing..

Maybe JJ should think about this in the next update..

cheers
