I just bought the 1000 and have a question

All it came with was a 32mb card, the mpc, and the cord to plug it to the outlet

and it never came with an instalation disk

so how do I load it with my drums, hi hats, and kicks without using any programs

And did it come with a manual? That will answer your question and probably a whole lot more. If not, you can download it from the akaipro.com support page.
