MPC 1000 and Cubase LE Echo

I just purchased a Lexicon Omega and im using Cubase LE that came with it. Everything seemes to be hooked up correctly but my only problem is that when i record something off the 1000 into the Lexicon, it is offbeat. Theres about a half second delay in the sequence? is there any way i can get this fixed?
