syncing recording its all going wrong! Ok, i have mpc and its running 4.27 os (thanks JJ). Just bought a EMu 0404 usb interface in addition i have a Evo 425c usb keyboard. What I would like and thought should happen is:
I have sonar 4 or cubase sv3. What i would like is the mpc to be the master of the sequencer (hence 4.27 mtc code). Tried setting it up in both no joy. First can anyone help there. Reason is i want to record the music arrangement and then eq etc each track if neccessary.
Second i wanted to record into the mpc breaks playing from the laptop cd player out through the 0404 the out of the spdif into the spdif of the mpc. no joy there either. (yes i have digi coax). i also wanted to play out the audio from mpc via digi out then into the 0404 then into the sequencer.
To finish i could then add vocals to the beat then master and fianlise the eq for mixdown. (that is what i thought). am i going crazy.
Please, have i gone really wrong here. Can someone help. (don't worry about the evo 425c that is the least of my worries!)
