footswitch footpedal?

Just wondering what benefits a foot pedal hooked up to mpc1000 could provide.?

I use the footswitch jacks all the time depending on what I'm doing I'll set it up to play/pause, record, or have it trigger a hit or loop like i"m a real drummer(bass pedal) so I can use my fingers to work the chops, hats, snares and toms. I use both footswitch jacks and I would love it if the mpc had an expression pedal input for filter sweeps and fx sweeps(like triggering a delay on the last hit)

what all footpedals work with the mpc1000. i went to a guitar store to see if they had any and i felt like a fool because i dont know what i was looking for exactly other than a footpedal. even the guys who work there didnt know wtf i was talking about they didnt know what an mpc was can anyone help me?

I use m-audio sp-1 sustian pedals cause the're built like tanks and have a polarity switch on them so that I can use it with any keyboard as well. You can use most sustian pedals wih the MPC 1000 but i'm not sure what polarity it needs so a universal one would be the best bet.

anyone know of any velocity sensitive pedals that u cuold use with the mpc?

does the mpc1000 only take sustain pedals?? i mean is that the kind that the mpc1000 talks about when it comes to footswitchs?

i use a boss footswitch: FS-5U. not sure about the polarity cos mine doesnt have any labels,..... but you just flip the switch either left or right since its universal.

mostly its either for the bass kick or closing a hat.

but it is kinda small since i'm used to the size of a regular kick pedal.

you can hook up a regular guitar wah pedal to sweep the output of the mpc just like divinci does.
