Story dude. Just for sampling from any record player would do grand, if you have a stereo with an AUX in you could get a cheap table top turntable for under 100quid easy and sample from the main output of the stereo, or evin the headphone jack if it hasnt got stereo outs.

Peace

i use an old technics turntable. just an average componant stereo type. i run it through a phono preamp and it works great cost me 50 bucks for the preamp and i got the turntable from somebody. you dont need a dj turntable to sample.

U can get USB turntables for quite cheap these days. Can't go wrong with a digital transfer of audio. I got a Bush Acoustics wax spinner which is fine. Red and white RCA cord which goes into a 3.5mm plug converter thingy. Straight into the back of my PC. I'm sure you all know this ish anyway.
