just rocksolid! AKAI has now released OS vs1.01.
A litte bugfix for Q-link.
I have it since 5 days. No fuXXup! all is very cool!

I do not recall any MPCxxxx 1.00 OS's that were buggy.

DPS and S- I may agree, but this is a different beast.

So is the MPC 1000 buggy like the 4000?

So what are you sayin that the MPC 1000 is buggy like the MPC 4000? They already have an update OS for the MPC 1000 but it was to fix the Q-link slider. I haven't heard anything bad about the MPC 1000. I hope I don't hear anything bad because mine should be in on the 15th of this month Monday! Holla at cha boy and let me know what's real GoNE!@#$

you could crash a mpc4000 in a couple of minutes.. maybe not as hard as S6000 ;-)

I forgot about the MPC4000, but still again, the MPC1000 is derived from a aready existing and stable MPC code base. The MPC4000 and Z series were new builds from the ground up.

I do not expect we will see anything like that in the MPC1000.

there's a bug I'm getting which seems to make the MPC1000 crash while its connected to the USB port, fortunately it happens after the data has finished transfering.

the data wheel doesn't always seem to find newly imported programs straight away when scrolling in the main menu - I had to go back and forewards to jog its memory

both small issues
