mpc to firebox to monitors

Hey, i just copped KRK R6s and now I wanna use my mpc1k through the monitors. I plugged the cables in the STEREO OUT of the mp and plugged them in the LINE IN in the Presonus Firebox. Where do I go from there? Is what I did right?? Also, how do I track into Cubase now (I watched mano's vid on syncing, so I know how to do that)?

outs of the sound card to the monitors, and you should be ready to go. not sure cuz i dont have that sound card though.

i have the firebox.

plug your monitors into the main outs of the firebox in the back. then run the lines from the mpc outs to the firebox ins, 3 and 4. then if you are going to direct monitor with the computer on, you need to open the mixer. if you are going to use it with a daw, you need to select the inputs that the mpc is running through. also, ive been doing this lately, if you unplug the firebox from the computer, or have the computer off, you can still monitor. the signal light will be red, but the firebox is still fully functional. that might have been common knowledge, but i just figured it out...
