lol my mpc is trippin. question.

I turn on the mpc.. record a sample and I trimmed it. I then assigned it to individual pads and the pads are operating, BUT NO SOUND!!! wtf is going on. I loaded other folders and no sound. I checked mute, volume and all, but cant find another alternative.

is your mixer/computer/speakers/mpc turned up? try plugging in some headphones to see if you are getting sound. also what about the output assignments on the mpc mixer. is it set to the correct outputs?

I put in headphones and nothin. I didnt change anything. It just happened today. im getting worried.

I went to trim mode and pressed the pad.. makes sound, but back to menu.. no sound.

if its making sound in trim mode, then it has to be a setting. if you are using the akai native os, i cant help cuz im on the jj os. but maybe do a factory reset. i believe its done by turning off the mpc and turning it back on while holding erase. check the manual to see if thats right.

I totally forgot where to set it so that it wont upload all the samples once I turn it on.
