ok , sorry to sound lame but does it have like a internal harddrive ? or is teh only place to store samples in teh compact flash card ? cause if so you cant hold too many samples in tehre , liek i thought i read you can have like 60,000 wav files in teh mpc1000 ? please clear it up for me i need to buy one asap!

There is no internal hard drive in the MPC 1000...yet!!

You save all of your work to a CF 2 card and move that data back and forth through USB to your computer.

Huh? You can use a 2Gig CF card with the MPC. Jeez, how big are your samples?


I'm not picking on anyone in this thread but it gave me a strange vision:

This is going to be too funny. After years of dealing with samplers small memory, jumping through hoops to attach large media storage, and issues with backing up work, people are going to find something wrong with the MPC1000's CF implementation.
