Midi Note assignment

Do you know if there is a way to save the midi note assignments on the mpc 1000 once I change them?

I just can't figure it out. Can any body help?

Make the changes - then save it as a new program.

Next time you start up your MPC load the program - hey presto - all the note assignments you made ar back.

Read up in the manual about programs if this doesn't compute.
