Wrong File?

Can someone paaleessee help a brotha out.I've dowloaded some Big fish audio sounds into my computer.I then cut and pasted the sounds i wanted from off the hard drive.But after spending and hour of that and transfering them to my mpc1000 the file names and folders show up but i get no wave files or sounds when i press play to audition or load.

It just reads Wrong File!

render the samples to 16 bit using a wav editor. goldwave is what i use for batch rendering.

I'm not exactly a teckie. So i'm not sure what you mean by rendering it to 16 bit and where do i get a wave editor to do that.Thanks

no need to be a techie. im not either.

download the program, open it up and click file. there is an option called "batch rendering". click that and another window will open. on the bottom of that window, there is a setting that says someting along the lines of "change to". i dont remember and im not home. but change it to 16 bit wav.

next drag and drop the folder onto that window. i think the default folder that it renders the new wavs to is the "my music" folder in the start window, if using pc.

click start/begin and it doesnt take very long.

what i usually do is create a new folder on the desktop and give it the same name as the original, but add 16 bit to it, and transfer the whole folder over to the mpc via usb.
