MPC 1000 Out of Stock

Im planning to buy an MPC 1K but all the retailers I've contacted have said that its on backorder in the US. Does anyone have an idea as to when these will be distributed again?

Also, could it be that Akai is reissuing the 1000 with the ideal pads used in the other MPCs? Maybe discontinued for that very reason?

Thats very possible. Akai has been very silent lately because they have been doing a lot of work and that could be one of the projects since its a fvkd up issue. We'll see. :? But I know that there will be suprises. :wink:
