MP doesn't read all of the samples dumped into the CF card

I have a 512 CF card and maxed out the whole thing with samples. when i try and load some samples into the mp, only about 30% of the samples i dumped into the CF card shows. is this a common thing or is my MP doing something wrong?

take a look in the MANUAL to see what format your samples have to be to be read by the mpc 1000.

all of the samples i have are .WAV. thanks for the reply alien. after browsing thru this forum, im not even worried about the CF card anymore. im gonna go deep pocket and install a hard drive for my joint. lord i didnt know they had these for the 1000. call me the newb of the month forreal.

just don't forget to pick up the VGA out while you're at it.

it enables you to plug in a vga monitor, so you don't strain your eye whilst producing.
