Morning yall.. rather then get all complicated wit it and all that i'm jus tell ya whats happening...
Made a song..I have 4 sequences....3 of the 4 sequences are 90BPM the remaining one is 100BPM...its the hook i tried it at 90 but i jus can't get it..i.e. it don't sound right i tried it at 100bpm and it fits exactly how i want it to...
each sequence is 2 bars... i go to song mode and set intro to 2 reps and then main beat to like 8 reps, then hook comes in(100bmp) then main beat again like 8 reps... this is how it happens in song mode... 90bpm(main beat) to 100bpm(hook) then down back to 90bpm(main beat) ...and in song mode its all gravey and all is good... so I convert my song into a sequence its about 5-6min's in lenghth..
but what happens now in the song sequence(now sequence 5) is that the main beat part (part RIGHT after the hook) stays at 100BPM rathern then going to what it should be 90BMP..so the drums is all messed all techno'd out...i.e. all sped up...like its keepin the tempo from the hook sequence basically....
hope that makes sense...
is it a way to keep my original tempos or way to stop this from happening?
I tried playin wit it to no avail and i tried lookin in my manual index and contents.. maybe i'm jus not seeing it but i can't seem to find it.. but i mean this was like at 2am this morning so maybe i was bugged out and couldn't find it..
but can anyone tell me where in the manual i can find out how to correct this?
I'ma apologize in advance for the next question as my knowledge on this end of it is most basic...
2. aight when RE sampling from the main outs... my ish is always mad low. for example i''ll resample that same song/sequence from above bout 5mins....but when i look at it in trim mode its LOW volume level, i'm talkin have to crank the mother on any system jus to get it to barely normal hearin level... I tried messin wit the record level on the mpc and i tried messing wit the volume level on my beringher mixer but nothing... I mean its gotta be a way for this not to be like this. .otherwise samplin from the main outs would be useless right?
