I have the MPC 1000 JJ OS 4.44. I'm trying to use MPC pad 187, but the programs created in this software will not load in my MPC 1000. When loading in the MPC, the error is files not found. I have the programs on my Compact flash card. But when I look at the programs on my Mac the samples load in each pad. The programs work in MPC Pad 187 but will not load in my MPC 1000. Please help. I like the software ability to load many samples at once. This is the reason I'm using MPC Pad 187. I have a Mac and PC.

I tried Bluebox, but when loading the sample to the pad in the software there would be conflicts with different pads. I did not get to try these programs because it was an error in bluebox software.

I need the ability to load many samples at once and create a program. Pleease help.

The sample created in MPC 187 are 16 bit. The samples are displayed in the MPC, its just the programs with not load.

When trying to load the program in the MPC the error states "wrong file".

Side-question:

Has anyone ever used both Pads 187 and Bluebox?

How is 187 compared to Bluebox - is it more frequently updated or less buggy? Wonder if it'd be worth finding a Mac on the real cheap sometime in the future if Pads 187 would be worth it.

ive used pad187 on a mac. but now i'm more likely to use MpcPgmMaker to build quick progs - chromatic/default - types too,
its on mac osx.

it works fine - esp. when renaming/converting sfiles to wav's for the prog, but doesnt do as much parameter editing as on pad187, but then again i think pad187 is a bit annoying cos u cant edit more than one pad at a time anyway.

which makes the mpc itself is quicker than the apps now......

I wish there was a program, that is updated and works well with the mpc 1000. I have thousand of samples and would like to create programs. I would like to create many kits using a software program. Can someone help. How do you create your programs in your MPC 1000.

Just checked the developer's site for that MpcPgmMaker software, but I think its only compatible with 2000s and 3000s.
Besides that theres some interesting audio tools on there if you use a mac. I haven't tried any of them but that RS-16X looks like a virtual MPC. Even got note repeat!

mpc pgm maker works fine with mpc1000's, save the files as 2000, pgm's, and the mpc 1k can read em, both default and chromatic

That RS-16X looks dope, I wish I had a Mac to try it out on. I bet if it was paired with an MPD 16 or 24 that shit would be exactly like an MPC.
