Thinking of buying an MPC1000, need some advice...

Okay, I think I'm going to go ahead and save up for an mpc1000. I have about 300 now, so I'm almost halfway there. I've never worked with an mpc or any beat machine, and I just dabbled with fruity loops. Ive alway been more so a rapper than producer, but I'mt rying to get serious. My question is, will is be extremely hard for a beginner and what are some tips if any?

No, it wont be hard for a beginner - especially with all the knowledge on this forum and my main site, mpc-tutor.com.

Tips? Well, I wouldn't know where to start - once you have the machine, start using the search function on this site and the main Tutor site and many of your questions will be answered - if not, post up your q's on the forums.

Well, I'll probably have the money by the end of feb. Is there an online manual for the mpc1000, that I could start studying before I get it?
