Problem with my flash card?or what?

I just loaded up some samples...left the house, and came back To nothing on my card no autoload no nothin. Im not sure what happened. I checked my other card and it loads just fine. Is my card bad? Im afraid to reformat because Im not sure if Im missing something. Has this happened to anyone else?

I have known CF to be unstable at times. What brand of CF card are you using? What size is it?

its a dan elec 1gb. I bought it off Ebay...maybe it was refurbished?

By the way, what Version OS are you running?

I have heard that there were file system problems and saving files with this OS.

I did not on the other hand have such problem as you. But when I got my Hard Drive installed, I went with JJOS 3.06 and formatted my HD.

I hope that makes sense.

Yep... that's your problem right there... the AKAI OS corrupts your files and eventually most of your card will be corrupted. You need to install the JJ OS (at least 3.06, which is free) and the reformat.
