Hey guys, basically I have been searching for other threads with this problem, but havent seen any. My mpc and juno seem to work fine together..except for one MAJOR problem. When i use the scroll wheel or arrows on my JUNO it messes with my MPC and makes me scroll through different sequences or changes my program etc...like the juno is controlling my mpc. As far as I know I set up midi properly because i have been able to successfully record some stuff with it. but its a burdon to have to reset everything on my mpc just because i want to change a patch on my juno. any ideas?

thanks in advance!!

it seems like u have yer mpc set to switch sequences and programs when it receives midi program/patch changes commands via midi from yer juno. either try to disable the rensponse in the mpc, its on page 49 of the v2.00 manual, mode+pad9=midi/sync, check the bit about seq change by prg change:on/off.

also, make sure none of the programs are set to be changed by ext midi program changes, i cant find the bit in the manuual 4 this but its there somewhere. hope this helps a bit.

i depends wether u plan to use the juno as a controller or just a midi sound module. the mpc tracks can (for seq each track) make the juno play a set program number on each track - using the juno as a 'sound module'....assuming its poly/multi timbral and capable of receiving more than one midi channel and/or play more than one midivoice.

in this mode, just set each tracks midi/program change number to the corresponding patches on the juno.
