problem loading sample in mp!!!

whats going on everyone, i recently encountered a problem with loading a sample into the mp. I was working on a sample in cool edit 2.0 and everything was fine.. so then i chopped up another one and when i did the usual save onto my compact flash, my cool edit would freeze on me.


I then tried to save the sample onto my desktop then drag in into the mp but then a window pops up saying cannot create file/folder. BTW i double checked and my sample is in .WAV (PCM) format.. Please any help! ONe love.
