Efx Settings?

In the MASTER
where should my settings be too have the best possible sound..or that many of u guys would do in the MASTER

ex. EQ
H: ?? +??
1: ??
etc

ex.Compressor
Threshold: ??
Gain: ??
Attack ??

etc.

Not to be negative but if we all used the same fx settings what would be the point in being able to alter them.

Its whatever suits your style and what samples you've used etc etc.


For example i might create a sample based setup in the mpc record to my daw add more fx and then run as just one track back into the mpc using completley different fx to the first set.

I can run samples in the mpc playback though my other hardware use the fx on them then record back to the mpc and use more fx.

The possibilities are endless (trial and error and a read up on what the different fx can do will help but hearing is always best

Also to give u another idea (though im sure you know this)

My setup so far is mostly keyboard based (ts88 nl2 nova11x and various others ive sold) rm1x and mpc1000 (my new baby owned nearly 2wks now).

My next step (when i can afford- fireworx is first on my list) is to buy high quality outboard units (the tools for mixing down professionaly)

The akai has effects are they good great, i don't know there just there for some more fun and variation and they are there

move the knobs around and see for yourself...if you have good speakers you should be able to do this?
