mpc1000 clean loop(need help)

Im new to the mpc family and just got my first mpc(the mpc1000) last Wednesday. Im recording the playing my drum beat, then when I play it back its not a clean loop and theres also extra taps. And whats up with the clicks the manual says to play to? That kinds of limits what I want to play dosnt it, if I play to the clicks. If anyone can help please do.

The clicks is the timing of the machine itself. Play in tempo with the clicks and it will loop back nicely.


The double/triple hits may be because you aren't used to tapping the pads correctly. Tap quickly and let up off it.
