how do i install new flash card? and how do i set note off?

i got a new flash card and i put it in and turned it on and it didnt reconize it, how to i get it to reconize the flash card. and how do i set the setting NOTE OFF so i have to hold the pad to play a whole sample? thanks guys

Format the flash card before use.

I'm probably looking to get a 1GB or something?
