memory not working

what's up guys.... i'm having a problem where my akai 256 mb memory card does not want to read that i've deleted everything of my memory card via usb. i deleted all my songs off using the usb cable and mounting my drive, but it still reads as only having 216 kb of memory. please help! ps i have the jj os file on there, however, this occurred even before i put it on there sometimes.

Sounds like one of the same problems I used to have... I believe it is caused by the file corruption that the Akai OS causes... did you try to format the card? If I were you, I would install the JJ OS and then format the card. That should fix it.

Unless.... are you confusing the amount of free RAM with the amout of free disk (card) space you have??
