I have been trying to learn how to use this thing and so far only small problems. But I just tried to lay down a drum track over a sample loop that I flipped. And I was recording the drums in a separate track than the one that sample was playing out off. I'm really perplexed because I made a 4 bar loop yesterday that is the same, sample with drums and it works fine.

this problem has been posted a million times but i think it's difficult to word.

possible problems:

1 - you have left the new program on its default "mono" after you've chopped (upper right hand of the pgm screen)

or

2 - polyphony mismanagement.

search the term "polyphony AND mismanagement" just copy and paste that into the search field
