IM TRACKING BEATS FROM MY MP TO PRO TOOLS THROUGH MY DIGITAL OUTLET.
EVERYTHING IS FINE EXCEPT FOR CLIPPING ON THE START OF THE KICK MAINLY. BUT SOMETIMES IT HAPPENS WITH OTHER SOUNDS TOO. WHAT CAN I DO TO STOP THE CLIPPING SOUNDS FROM HAPPINING. CAUSE I TURNED DOWN THE KICK ON THE MP AN ON MY MIXER BUT IT STILL HAPPINS WHEN I RECORD IT TO PRO TOOLS.

Also you may want to lower your master volume... Lately I am working on real slamming beats and find that I need to be at -12db to avoid clipping.
