MPC1000 as Master/ Protools as Slave?

Ok I already got the MPC and Protools in Sync, but the only way I can make this work is with Protools as the Master.

I know protools can send MIDI clock, but i can't find the way to make Protools recieve the Midiclock from the MPC1000.


Does anybody knows?

I'm lost on that one myself. I know some of the UK cats get on later and may no more about the protools use.

As far as I can tell from you past posts you had the MPC set correct.

Well I don't have to post in the Digidesign forum because i own a freaking MPC1000 and this is an MPC1000 forum after all. Maybe one of the master producers on this forum has an MPC1000 and Protools TDM, and has the supreme knoledge to answer my ignorant question.

I know I have to use MIDI beat clock. I can only get Ptools to send MidiBeatClock to the MPC, but I want it to receive MIDI Clock from the MPC1000.

Did you use the link to the thread I mentioned? It should work. If it didn't help you let me know and we can try to figure out what the problem is.
