Adjusting the tempo to a beat with...

one of your own programs... How do I figure out the tempo of a beat I've created with a program I've made on my own? I've tried to see the tempo of the beat in the DETECT TEMPO section but I can't seem to get it right... I don't know what to do.

By the way I'm new here and I am new to the mpc. I hope you can help me out. thanks.

use tap tempo, tap to the beat, adjust until it loops correctly
